Chronic subdural hematoma in a very elderly patient is a very tricky situation especially when it has an associated subdural membrane .There is a chance of recurrent collection or postoperative bleeds as these patients most of the times are on ecospirin which leads to platelet dysfunction. Moreover we have only one chance to treat them as patient being very elderly may not tolerate repeated surgeries. However surgery at hands of experienced surgeon can give wonderful results.
