This middle aged lady presented with chronic back pain and early difficulty in walking. There was past history of fall which led to wedge compression fracture. Now her MRI showed kyphotic deformity with myelomalacia which was due to draping and rubbing of the cord over the retropulsed fragment. Her kyphosis correction was done and had remarkable recovery. Though the old vertebral fractures which have healed can give delayed complications.
